About Susan
Susan Buckley is a Clinical Psychologist and experienced family law expert who has worked in the family law field for more than 25 years.
She has extensive experience in the assessment of children and families involved in parenting proceedings and provides independent, child-focused expert opinion to the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia and in privately commissioned family law matters.
Susan was formerly a Family Consultant and Deputy Manager with Child Dispute Services of the Family Court of Australia and has extensive experience preparing Family Reports and other specialist family law assessments.
Her practice is informed by a developmental and child-focused approach, with particular experience in complex parenting matters involving family violence, high parental conflict, child safety and wellbeing, neurodiversity, relocation and complex family dynamics.
